28 - 솔로몬 가족은 외계인 (영어 듣기)

Dick : Good Morning Nina.

Nina : Well, good morning. I was going to ask what you did this weekend, but I think it's painfully clear. By the way, Happy birthday. ...brace yourself.

Mary : Hello, oh my god.

Dick : What's the matter?

Mary : Nothing. Laurie called me last night.

Dick : Really? what did she say?

Mary : what was that?

Dick : what?

Mary : that squeaking.

Dick : I have no idea. What did Laurie say when you talked to her?

Mary : she has decided to come here next year.

Dick : Oh, Isn't that nice.

Mary : Yes. ah, Could you walk over there and get me that pencil?

Dick : But you have one right on your desk.

Mary : I know but, I need that one.

Dick : Ok,

Mary : Thank you, I got you a birthday card.

Dick : Happy birthday you look like a million dollars.. old and wrinkled. What kind of a cruel hoax is this?

Mary : It's a Hallmark card.

Dick : A hallmark of degradation. First line lulled me into a false sense of  security and the second line ripped out my heart and slapped me across the face with it awakening me to harch reality.

Mary : It's an old joke.

Dick : for an old fool! Well, I want no part of it. I'm leaving while I still have my dignity.

Recording : Congratulation, You have completed your path to personal transformation ,say yes to you.

Harry : yes

Recording : And never forget when the world gets you down, stay positive.

Harry : I'm almost completely sure that I will.

Sally : Damn, A wrinkle!! I've peaked.
